Started in the beginning of 2020, we are a faith-based organization that provides 10 meal food boxes built around nutritional guidelines for our food insecure clients, non-perishable food bags and fresh fruit to the homeless population, food sharing, logistical assistance and monthly grocery credits to partnering organizations. Assistance is provided to everyone regardless of faith, gender, age, or social background. We strive to help everyone. Faith in Food is a privately funded organization delivering over 60,000 meals annually.
What is the best way to heal our divided and impoverished communities? We believe the answer is two fold; faith and food. Human beings feel better, function more efficiently, and can spread a positive message of civility, unity, and community only when our stomachs are full. The other critical piece, faith, is finding a way to make our Higher Power (God, Yahweh, Allah) a top priority in our lives and knowing He will provide for us especially when we serve other.
